Weekender is the collaboration between the Brooklyn based film and television sound designer and composer, James Panepinto, and the Richmond, VA singer Jack Budd, of the band Battle Flags. Their creative process combines analog synthesis, creative sound design, and indie and pop songwriting.

Their first single, "Fear" is featured in the MTV shows Catfish and Finding Carter, and draws comparisons to contemporary artists including Phantogram, SOHN, How To Dress Well, and Glass Animals.
