The Internal Frontier is a folk/pop acoustic artist from the Washington D.C. area. Inspired by soulful singers like Steven Tyler, Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, and Freddie Mercury, Jake has a real need for good melodies and thought provoking lyrics in his music. He has been writing in this manner for most of his life. Having fronted many rock bands, he decided to try something different and began working on some solo material. After releasing his first solo work online ("Ride" 2014), he was approached by Austin Bello (producer/artist) about recording an EP. Wanting to make an even bigger impression with his second release, he enthusiastically agreed.
