Velshur has played over 300 shows in the last 3 years through 7 different countries with his band and as a solo performer. Velshur's sound is a fresh blend of soul warming funk, rock, blues, folk, and soul.
A combination of residencies and touring saw Velshur play over 100 shows in in four months in their first year, very quickly building their fanbase and a reputation for performing their unique brand of soul warming funk rock.
In the months since, the band have been working equally hard to put together their debut EP, produced and engineered by Blake Eiseman in Atlanta, Georgia (Beyonce, Kanye West, Pink, Pearl Jam) and Nicholas Wilson (Wolfmother, Sticky Fingers, Seasick Steve) which was introduced in early June with the debut single Spanish Sound, recently peaking at #2 on Australia's Triple J Unearthed Charts in October 2015.
The band recently embarked on an international tour through the UK and Europe to support the single, receiving play on the BBC, as well as regular rotation online.
