Burn The Ballroom is a Rock/Anthemic/Powerpop band based outside of D.C. founded by singer and guitarist Alan “Adriel” Gant. Joined by long-time friend and bassist Jackson Harar, the two teamed up with touring veteran Jack Ivins on drums and long-time friend and guitar mercenary Sterling Pearson on lead guitar in 2013. The group was joined by keytarist Tuomas Easton in Summer 2014. The band combines dark pop, rock, anthemic melodies, soaring dynamics, and eclectic instrumentation to form haunting compositions with driving force.
Lyrics:
She had problems with my love connections So she bought me bullets and she made corrections She had problems with their cruel derisions So she bought a scalpel and she made incisions Honey Id say crazy doll but youve got something different Id say complicated but thats your kind of rhythm Id say lost and youd say love But youre crazy not to see that youre crazy just like me She had problems with the gospel liars So she bought some fuel and then she started fires She had problems feeling awful sleepless So she bought a shovel and she buried secrets Honey Id say crazy doll but youve got something different Id say complicated but thats your kind of rhythm Id say lost and youd say love But youre crazy not to see that youre crazy just like meLyrics:
I found myself a way I found myself a light a bright and brilliant flame I I found myself a song No matter what this road my soul stays strong And I will fight through rebel days and darkest nights And I will soldier through the rain And as long as I still stand And as long as I still breathe Ill keep on strong Ill carry on Tonight we all believe I I found myself the grace To fight the fears I face no matter come what may And I will find through rebel days and darkest nights That I can soldier through the rain And as long as I still stand And as long as I still breathe Ill keep on strong Ill carry on Tonight we all believe And as long as I still stand And as long as I still breathe Ill keep on strong Ill carry on Tonight we all believe...
