Our recent signing, Bright Moments, from David Byrne’s Luaka Bop label, is led by multi-instrumentalist Kelly Pratt, who has lent his talents to Beirut, Arcade Fire, and LCD Soundsystem in the past. His new album Natives is full of catchy tunes and plenty of, well, bright moments. “Travelers” builds into an all-out horn and percussion groove that gives way to Pratt’s vocals, and feels better each time it resurfaces throughout the track.
